Audit Logs Beta + Attendance, Timezone, and Loot Auction Improvements

🧪 Initial Work – Audit Logs (Beta Start)

  • ✅ Alliance attendance event actions now generate an audit log (editing event, editing/deleting attendance records, manually adding participants via website).
  • ✅ Audit logs will eventually connect to the upcoming Attendance Access Code system.
  • 🔮 Future update: Full Alliance-Wide Audit Logs showing all actions performed via bot or website across the entire server.

🛠️ Minor QoL Improvements

  • ✅ Attendance and Signup events are now clickable from the Alliance page.
  • ✅ Alliance page widget now only displays latest active events (Signups, Event, or Archived).
  • ✅ Clicking on sidebar links from the Account page now redirects to your first registered alliance.
    • (Multi-alliance switching support coming later.)

🌎 Timezone Updates (/account Page)

  • ✅ Users can now update their timezone manually.
  • ✅ Added timezone search capability.
  • ✅ A notification confirms when the update is successful.
  • ✅ Timestamps across the website now display:
    • Local time
    • UTC
    • Paris time
    • Japan time
    • Relative time (hover for more detailed info)

⏳ Member Absence System Update

  • ✅ New Absent Members widget added on the Alliance page.
  • ✅ Added a Reset Alliance Absents button — mass reset all members to active if necessary.
  • ✅ Added an Absent status column to the Players page.
  • 🕒 Note: Using /absent or /return updates may take 15–30 seconds to reflect fully in /profile.
  • 🔄 Future: Manual return and absence reason viewing will be added into the User Profile page.
Testing Feature:
  • 🟡 PENDING_ABSENT state introduced — user is still active but scheduled to become absent soon.

💎 Loot Auction System Changes (Major)

  • 🚫 Users can no longer outbid themselves.
  • ⏳ New anti-sniping system:
    • If bidding with less than 1 hour remaining, adds +1 minute to the auction timer.
    • If bidding with less than 5 minutes remaining, adds +2 minutes to the auction timer.

👤 User Profile Updates

  • ✅ DKP History is now starting to appear on individual user profiles.
  • ⚡ Work-in-progress — visual updates and refinements will continue over the next few days.

QoL & System Updates across Loot, Loadouts, Signups, and Character Tools

🔒 Character Management

  • ✅ /delete command now prompts for confirmation before removing a character (no more accidental wipes!).

💎 Loot Listings System

  • 🔁 When rerolling an item listing, all request scores now range from 0–100.
  • 🔼 Listings are now automatically sorted:
    • Priority: Upgrade > Trait > Litho
    • Within each category, scores are sorted highest to lowest.
  • 🧾 Closed listings now feature a “View Audit” button:
    • Shows all request scores in an ephemeral message.
    • Migration ongoing to apply this to historical listings.

📋 Signups & Loadout Party Builder

  • 🧠 Added a character role legend in parties.
  • 🎨 Each player now has a colored band on the right side indicating role.
  • 🔍 User search + class filter added to the Unsorted Group.
  • 🧭 Hovering over a role icon now shows a tooltip explaining the role.

🛡️ Quest Log / Build Input

  • ✏️ New command: /questlog
    • Users can now input their character builds.
    • Build data is now visible in /profile for quick reference.

  • 🔎 Added a user search bar.
  • 🧩 Combined all statuses (attending, absent, tentative, etc.) into one table.
  • 🎚️ Added a type filter to toggle between statuses.
  • 🔢 Row numbers added for easier referencing.
  • 📝 Note: If someone switches from absent → attending, they may appear higher in the list than new attendees.

We’ve rolled out several quality of life improvements to Dynamic Events (Signups) — making party management and attendance tracking even smoother 🚀

🆕 New Buttons Added to Dynamic Events (Signups)

Now shows party compositions directly within the signup embed.
Includes:
  • Party names
  • Character names for each party

Displays event attendance breakdowns:

Also introduces:
  • 🟡 Ineligible → Users who do not have the required role
  • ⚪ Unknown → Users with the required role but haven’t responded yet

An officer-only feature that:
  • Sends a custom message to users who haven’t marked attendance

🗓️ March 29th, 2025 Update – ⚙️ v1.37 – Loadouts & Recurring Events for Signups

🧩 Team Builder (Loadouts) Are Now Live!

The long-awaited party builder is now fully integrated into Signups under the name “Loadouts” 🎉 You can now instantly populate your war parties using two types of templates:
  • Class Templates (Tank, MDPS, RDPS, Healer, Bomber)
  • Player Templates (assign specific players to specific slots)
When importing a template:
  • It will clear your current build
  • Generate parties from the template
  • Attempt to fill available slots based on either class role or attendance
You can still manually edit the loadout after importing or re-import again to reset your party builds.

🔁 Recurring Events Now Enabled

You can now schedule events to automatically recur every X days!
  • Found in the Signups creation panel
  • Simply define how often you want the event to repeat
  • The bot will duplicate the signup and repost it on the chosen cycle

🔔 Ping Role Support for Signups

Introducing “Ping Role” on the signup creation screen:
  • Assign a Discord role to ping when the event is posted
  • Helps boost attendance by tagging relevant groups

The long-awaited Party Builder for Signups (Dynamic Events) is now live! 🎉
You can now visually organize members into structured parties directly from the dashboard. 📸 Sneak Peek:

  • ✅ Party layouts can now be created and edited per event
  • ✅ Attending members can be assigned to parties manually or soon via templates
  • ✅ Parties are saved per signup event
  • ✅ Allows complete control over group structuring ahead of war content

🔄 Coming Soon – Template System for Party Importing

We’re currently finalizing the Template Import System for Party Builder. There will be two template types:

🎭 Player Templates

  • Templates with specific player names for each party slot
  • During import, Throney will check who is attending and auto-place them accordingly
  • If a player isn’t attending, their slot will remain empty

​
🧩 Class Templates

  • Define templates by roles like: mdps, rdps, tank, healer, bomber
  • Throney will randomize the attending player list and fill roles in order
  • Early parties will get priority; later parties may remain empty if roles are unavailable
After importing:
  • You can edit the loadout, add/remove players, or re-import a new template as needed
  • The system will delete current party progress before applying a new template

🎯 New DKP Item/Loot Auction System!

We’ve expanded the DKP system to include a fully integrated Auction System for better loot distribution. This update allows Alliance Officers to set up auctions for items via the dashboard, while users can now bid directly in Discord.

📦 DKP Item/Loot Auctions Update

✅ Alliance Officers can now create auctions from the website
  • Configure the auction channel, item, starting price, bid increments, and auction end time
✅ Bidding System
  • Users can place bids via a bid button in Discord
  • Bid amount is immediately deducted from DKP balance
  • If a higher bid is placed by another user, previous bids are automatically refunded
  • Users can bid multiple times in succession (if they have enough DKP)
    • 📌 Let us know if we should restrict consecutive bids (i.e., requiring another user to bid before bidding again)
✅ Auction Completion & Management
  • Auctions automatically end when the timer expires
  • Alliance Officers can manually end an auction from the dashboard
  • Auctions can be deleted only from the dashboard
    • 🚀 Deleting from the dashboard automatically removes the Discord message

Many members have found the Greed option confusing when claiming DKP items. To improve clarity, we’ve introduced three new options and reaction-based item requests to ensure players know what they selected and can easily remember their choice later.

📦 DKP Item Listings Update

  • ✅ Changed from Need/Greed to Litho/Trait/Upgrade
  • ✅ Moved to interactive reaction buttons
  • ✅ Added ability for staff to delete listings (bot must have Manage Messages permission in that channel/server)
  • ✅ Quality of Life: Awarding a user now automatically rejects other users
  • ✅ Updated the website dashboard → Now more informative and easier to understand
  • ✅ Migration Info:
    • Old Need/Greed votes are still visible on the website but will need to be re-voted under Litho, Trait, or Upgrade
    • Expect a ~1-2 minute delay for item listings created on the website to appear in the configured channel
  • ⚠ Warning: To avoid potential errors, always delete item listings from the website dashboard instead of directly in Discord.
