Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Throney’s features, commands, and systems.

🚀 General Questions

Throney is an advanced guild management platform designed to help guilds and alliances organize events, track attendance, distribute loot with DKP, and manage war parties.
Invite Throney to your server using this link. You must have Admin permissions.
Join our Discord Support Server to ask questions, request features, and see the latest updates.

⚙️ Setup & Dashboard Access

After adding Throney, create an “Officer” role, assign it to yourself, and run the /setup command in Discord.
Visit throney.gg and log in with Discord. Click on your alliance to access settings.
Yes, by clicking “Update Guild” in the Throney Dashboard, you can edit guild names or add more guilds.

🏆 DKP System & Loot Distribution

Officers can assign DKP values to events. Members earn DKP when attendance is logged via /attendance.
Use /adjust award @user [amount] to add DKP or /adjust deduct @user [amount] to remove DKP.
  1. Go to the Alliance Dashboard and navigate to Item Listings.
  2. Click “Add New Item”.
  3. Select the text channel, item name, and any notes.
  4. Click Submit to post the item to Discord.
You can also upload guild storage screenshots through the Loot Bank to extract and route items in bulk.

📅 Event & Attendance Tracking

  1. Go to the Alliance Dashboard → Scheduled Events.
  2. Click “Manage Events” → “Add Event”.
  3. Configure event time, signup roles, channels, and DKP weight.
  4. Save the event, and it will automatically post in Discord.
After an event ends, type /attendance and select the event. Attendance will be tracked and credited to each user in the voice channel, and DKP will be automatically awarded to attendees.

📋 Recruitment & Applications

  1. Go to the Alliance Dashboard > Recruitment > Forms.
  2. Create a form with your questions.
  3. Go to the Embed Builder tab, design a recruitment embed, attach your form as a button, and post it to a Discord channel.
  4. Set a review channel in Settings where application threads will be created.
Applicants can apply two ways:
  • Click an Apply button on a recruitment embed you posted in Discord
  • Visit your public apply page at throney.gg/apply/YOUR_SERVER_ID
Both require logging in with Discord.
When someone applies, a thread is created in your review channel with their responses and Accept/Deny/DM buttons. You can also review from the web dashboard under Recruitment > Applications.
Yes. Go to Recruitment > Blocklist and add their Discord ID. You can also set cooldown periods and minimum account age on individual forms.

🔧 Troubleshooting & Support

  • Ensure the entire character screen is visible in your screenshot, including class name, level, and stats.
  • Try re-uploading using /upload with a slightly different screenshot (different aspect ratio or zoom level).
  • If it still fails, an officer can use /edit to correct any mistakes.
  • Throney supports English and Portuguese class names natively. Other languages are detected through weapon combination matching.
Yes, use /upload [image] @user to upload a character profile on behalf of another member.

The /upload command natively supports English and Portuguese class names. Players using other game languages (German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, etc.) will still have their class detected correctly through weapon combination matching. Player names with special characters may need manual correction via /edit.
The Loot Bank lets officers upload screenshots of their guild’s item storage chest. Throney’s AI extracts all visible items and matches them against the game database. You can then route extracted items directly to auctions or item listings in bulk.
